    Great Phone Camera

One of the best features of the LG is the camera. Takes great photos. I like that all the buttons are on the back and not sides. It has enough memory and is fast. You can access the battery-many phones today have the battery sealed inside, like the I-phone. Accepts an SD chip, giving much more storage. The phone is large, but not too large. I like everything about the LG, except the bloatware that ATT installs that can not be removed. Should be a law against that! Battery life is OK, but not great.

    Battery Life Is Sucky!!!

The battery goes dead extremely fast!! It's horrible!! I'm starting to hate my phone!! I wish I never brought it!!! It takes about 6 to 7 hours to get a complete charge but then goes dead within 30 minutes.

  • Buyer beware: no wi-fi calling, buttons on back BUT does support USB OTG audio!

Overall it's a good phone if you can pick one up for about $80. Comes with lots of bloatware, but so do most branded phones. It was easy to root with Kingroot, and uninstall the bloatware. If you don't want to root, it has enough storage capacity and RAM to run smoothly anyway. I haven't had any software issues myself, and personally I like the LG custom interface. However, I didn't realize until after the fact that there is no Wi-Fi calling option, so be aware of that. If your signal is bad indoors, you're just out of luck. Better try the T-mobile version of the G3 in that case. I knew about the buttons being on the back, but having a hard time getting used to them. The best thing about the phone is that it supports digital audio output through the USB jack (so it works with the FiiO Kunlun, for example). One other annoying thing is that there is no option to have a brightness slider in the notification panel, even with root access.

  • Just a simple person with honest review

I'm not a specs or hardware person so this review will be straight to the point lol. Battery life is fine. If its draining too fast just get off the phone and enjoy life. The screen and resolution looks amazing, my only complaint with this phone is the speaker. Terrible spot for it in the back and isn't too loud. But the buttons on the back took no time to get used to and I actually like it better than on the sides. Phone is fast, responsive and does everything I need it to do.

  • Way more than meets the eye

I have an Iphone 6plus and am unhappy with Apple's take on how to do a phone. I can't access the battery which has a planned end of life cycle, and on the contrary, my LG G3 has a user replaceable battery and besides it's 32gb internal memory, I've added a 128gb memory card which neither can be done with an apple phone. They make good products, take one step forward and two to three backwards. Android phones are way easier to buy and their operating system just works. My apple mail crashes almost everyday but gmail never crashes and I should stick to why I purchased my LG G3, I had the LG G2 which I gave to my wife who swore she would never use anything but her standard, non smart flip phone, now I could not pry it from her hands unless she was dead and her hands were cold. My LG G3 made apple stop using their famous slogan, "retina display" which means nothing but implies that the display has something to do with eyesight, but LG pixel density climbs to 575 pixels per inch and the famous retina display can be just over 400 pixels per inch, no contest, hooray, apple retina display is dead, long live LG for killing retina. LG has arguably a better camera and bettere software and certainly is a far better value on every level. I could have gotten the LG G4 or G5 or v10 but the G2 and G3 offer best battery life, I could go on and on, but it's late and I am just being silly , but check it out for yourself. I don't own an apple watch because I am not an idiot, I am not an Apple fan boy , Although all my computers are apple, I am tempted to go straight linux which is what apple is based on. Windows stole everything they have from apple, if not, they would be still using dox (disc operating system) they are all fakes and frauds, but Android is just way more honest, and Samsung is so over rated and don't deserve the price discrepancy they command, Peace out

  • Oh, I loved this phone!`

Great phone. I have only had LG phones and really like them. This phone was fast, had huge storage, and the battery last a long time for a smartphone. The picture/screen was VERY clear. It was easy to use and learn. I had to get another LG phone because I use pre-paid carriers and my carrier was getting knocked off the towers by the owner of the tower. Had to switch pre-paid carriers and got a very similar LG phone, but doesn't have the storage or memory. This is the best phone I have ever had.

  • Lightweight even with the 5.5" screen

Received my new LG G3 850 in factory packaging with battery, charger, and quick set-up instructions. Phone was easy to configure and feature wise is very similar to my old Samsung Galaxy 5 active. Battery easily last all day with moderate use and I normally charge it overnight. Purchased a two piece case for grip ease as the phone is smooth and contour which makes it a little easier to slip out of my hand. I like the fact that it does not have any buttons on the side, a nice design factor. All controls are handled by the toggle switch/power button on the back of the phone. Takes great pictures, sound and display qualities are very good. Very satisfied with my purchase.

  • Great device

The LG G3 is a great smart phone and I got a great deal on it. Although in 2016 it's not the latest LG model it's still a powerful phone. The battery life like all smart phones doesn't last as long as I would like it's still good. I ungraded the software to Marshmellow which lets you manage apps so you can extend battery life. I also like the removable battery so you can replace it yourself. I let other people pay for the latest and greatest smartphone and I still end up with a great "Brand New" device at a killer price.

  • Good Buy

This is actually the third one of these I've purchased. The first two stopped working more quickly than I'd anticipated so got a warranty with the second and will be applying for the refund. I also bought a warranty with this one. So why do I keep buying this particular phone? The size is perfect, screen sharp, good photo quality, great color. Have had many phones over the years but still prefer LG.

  • LG G3 is comparable to the newest phones at 1/3 the price.

The phone has a fast processor and enough memory to be comparable to a 2018 phone. It is still faster than most of the free phones you get with a plan today. It also has a great camera and very good battery life.
