So far so good, excellent sound, good price, these are some of the best (better than beats) hp around. Highly recommend

There are some of the best wireless headphones (HP) around. I have always been a Sony fan, I have used mv6s for years and love them. Bose are very nuteral sounding and there have very good bass by comparison (I won many head phone -all wired- that are of exceptional quality, and these are right up there with the best. And for the price you really can't beat these. I liked them so much I also bought a pair of 650s. They sound almost as good, fit on the ears instead of over, but as a good back up pair they worth it too. I like the fact that you can use the 950 corded and Bluetooth. The 650s only wirelessly. The battery life has be excellent also, 20-25 hrs on the 950, 30-40 on the 650 (smaller driver = less power). Note: I never use the extra bass feature on the 950, I find that to be too bassy for my liking. Bose is very nuteral, Sony Xtra bass is bassy, Sennheiser is good but lacks bass, akg is good and there are others that cost lots more that are equally as good as the Sony, but most (if not all,) with the same features cost way more than the Sony. Beats have a good rep, but really did not like them for what they cost. Sony, beat beats, with better base beats!!! GET THE SONY, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED.

    Good features, Flimsy speaker supports

The best part of these headphones is the volume control. It is independent from your device. In other words, the headphones do not control the volume on your device. They have their own volume control, which allows for a finer control of the volume level. I like that. The bad part is the swivels/hinges are flimsy plastic. They fatigue and fail over time. These are my second pair so I know, and the net is full of people who have experienced the same problem. I've gone so far as to reinforce this pair with thin metal and epoxy to, hopefully, make them last.

  • To each his own

I had done quite a bit of research before purchasing this product and I felt it would be a worth while buy. When I tested these headphones, I was very impressed with its low frequency range, which was implied by "Extra Bass." I was, however, able to recognize that its higher frequency range wasn't as strong as my MDR-7506 professional headphones. The treble and vocals aren't as crisp or assertive as I would like them to be, but I realize these headphones were designed for hip/hop, rap and for that they are very satisfactory. I was able to actually feel the headphones vibrate with the boosted bass setting and enough volume. Overall, this is a great product. I do recommend.

  • Love 'em!

I was a little unsure if I would like these because they're big over the ear headphones. I was looking for smaller on-ear head phone but I found these at a good price and I trust Sony quality. I actually LOVE these headphones! Great sound, VERY comfortable to wear, and light weight. they don't make me sweat while on my riding mower, so I can listen while mowing and they block most of the mower noise, nice clear sound. I also wanted a pair of headphones to listen to music to help me fall asleep. Even though these are large, they are very comfortable to wear in bed and I have fallen asleep and worn them all night! If you are thinking a large headphone might be too big, think again, you might be just as surprised as I was with the comfort of these Sony headphones. Oh, and did I mention the GREAT sound you get with these too!

  • Better then Bluedio and Beats

I've had Wireless beats before and one of its problems was that the sound would skip or repeat because of Bluetooth malfunctions. I've had Bluedio for over a year and it was very loud on the lowest setting which was odd. This Sony delivers the best sound and bass quality I've ever heard. It also was a great replacement as my Bluedio turbine broke on its plastic hinge. I have a Bluetooth portable sound bar also from Sony, and they both are just wonderful. For these headphones they actually beat my past headphones with comfort, bass, and style. The headphones also has its own volume control and the phones as well, making the right amount of volume precise. I am happy to say these are my new favorite headphones. They are so much better then "on ear" headphones where as the cup cradles the ear like a child. Because I have glasses, these don't interfere with its position above the ear. I will grade( A )for these Bluetooth headphones.

  • Sony MDR-XB950BT/B Extra Bass/Bluetooth Wireless Headphones

These headphones are very comfortable lightweight and sound great. Unfortunately they will not connect via Bluetooth with my Sony NWZ Z1050 which also has Bluetooth WI FI and Sony's S-Master Amplification but it does connect via the stereo cable supplied and I personally rate the sound as a eight out of ten being that I have owned numerous "high end" sets of headphones like Bose OE2 Monster's N tune (but the head band broke and Monster would NOT give me warranty I have owned Denon DJ series headphone and various other Sony headphones. Generally these headphones I would consider them high quality or "professional" grade or even studio grade or quality. A good buy for what I paid and I don't recommend anyone paying "retail" for these headphones because these headphone are not really worth $250 in my opinion. I would like to "pair" them with something Sony or anything Bluetooth to see what these headphones sound like through a Bluetooth connection but I don't possess anything Sony or any other brand that is compatible but they seem to be great headphones and are very comfortable and reasonably light weight.

  • Great headphones

Great sounding headphones, the only problem was I ordered black, and they sent me red ones. Which is okay for a non picky customer. I didn't want to ship them back and wait another few days to recieve the right color. Besides the red doesn't look half bad!

  • If you can find a deal

I absolutely love these headphones! They are super comfortable, the sound is better than any other headphone I've owned, but this is also my first pair of over ear phones. I've only used the bass boost once and I thought is was a little more than what I needed considering the quality of the bass without the boost. Watching movies with these is the best. I have a big head and these don't look stupid on me. I just think the retail price is a bit high, so if you can find a good deal, go for it, you won't be disappointed.

  • It feels like an anvil on your head, but the sound is quite good.

I feel like Princess Leia with heavy pom poms on each side of my face, but after a while it doesn't matter. I can walk around with the music so it's nice. I think the instructions are quite weird for setting it up. I use an iphone but it suggested that I download Google Player. I did. Nothing happened. I went online and watched a youtube video. Duh: You pair the bluetooth like everything else. But you must hold the power button down for a long time until you see a blue light for pairing to start. The price is right. No real complaints. I'll suffer through it... I think what I'm looking for probably costs $600... not worth it. I think this is the real deal in the meantime... the base is a bit heavy, but I think I did it using the power booster. I don't like talking with the headphones on them, however, as I feel like I'm in a tunnel... so I'll probably take one of the headphones off and talk on the phone with one only....

  • Great product!

Works very well on Bluetooth. Has a reasonable range of around 12-15 metres direct, a little less with walls in the direct signal path. Bass boost is a bonus and works well. When I run the headphones direct(cable) of the Mac I use a small Fiio pre amp that has hi/lo filters and bass enhancement. The sound quality has excelllent clarity. I am now enjoying listening to music from my Android phone too. Comfortable and lightweight to wear. I am very happy with them. Great value for money.
