"Well made and simple to use"
Quality product and well made - the fit of all the parts and accessories is excellent. Over a 2km range we have had clear transmissions using both the ear pieces and the T80 by its self. The colour makes it almost impossible to lose even in low light conditions. The belt clip and lanyard are both robust - albeit the lanyard is best fitted to where the belt clip is attached and removing the belt clip to do so is not that easy. However once the Lanyard is fitted the belt clip goes back on easy and you have both options to use. Case makes a safe storage place for when not in use. Good coverage, robust and easy to use.
I have had various sets of these for the last 5 years for different organisations. They have very good coverage giving clear sound and voices can still be heard even in windy conditions. They are robust and easy to use. Very good overall
I have used these for events and keeping contact with crew on events. While in close range they are perfect but I do question the distance on them. In order to get 10k out of them u would want to be on the top of two mountains to get that sort of range. In a small country town there was drop out in the signal at a distance of 1km but it also was quite a hilly town also. So maybe the environment factors were against me. If u buy use with the headset for best results . It's quite hard to heard just the headset on its own unless you were in a very quite environment. They are very robust and battery lasts a long time. This is a really good set of radios in a handy case. I paid just under £140 for it which makes it great value. I used them in an old building with thick walls and the reception was good and speech very clear. The only - and fairly minor - downside is that you have to remove the lanyard to sit the radio in its charger. I haven't used the headsets as yet so can't really comment on that.
