Just like original
The brushes, springs, and bushings are just like the original. My starter is still 6-volt, so it's important the brush wires are same as original, which these are. It's not fun to replace the soldered-on brushes, but it can be done with a tiny butane torch, or an old-fashioned large soldering copper. I modern soldering gun won't do it, so use the proper tools.
