Much better that the flimsy nipper hook eye cleaner
Great product!! Cleans from size 20 (that's as small as I typically fish) on up. Built much stronger than the hook eye cleaner built in on nippers. Those things bend after a couple of uses. Be careful when deploying this cleaner, it will bring blood if you're not careful😁. Highly recommend this

Great Hook Eye Cleaner
At the fly tying bench where a bodkin’s diameter is much too large to clear the eye of a small dry fly hook, this tool does so with ease, and can be retracted when not in use — because it’s point is fine and very sharp. I use this all the time.
