I had a Samsung galaxy mega already this is the mega 2. I like that when a call comes in when reading something it doesn't take whole screen unless you answer the call. My husband and I like the large phones because makes reading or videos easier and also easier for kids. Realistically most only use smartphones a small percentage for actual calls and for everything else this is a great compromise so don't have to carry an iPad or tablet as well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Battery to small
The phone is big enough to hold two battery packs. And the battery pack should be easier to change. If it had two easy to change packs then I could change one on the go and never turn off the phone. The phone works great, clear sound and easy to call. It does a very good job of playing videos and displaying photos. But when it comes to a word processor and typing, it is the worst I have every used. It is very, very difficult to copy, cut, and paste. It would be great if I could use the same as Windows short cut keys of CTRL C, CTRL X, CTRL V. I tried mine for about 10mins before I put the SIM card in it to see how it worked. Then when I went to put my SIM card in and I found it takes a micro-SIM card, my SIM card would not fit. I put it back on Ebay the next day and sold it. Very well-equipped phone for the price. Some may consider it too large, so it really comes down to personal preference. And, you will probably need a belt-clip to carry this because it would be hard to walk around with this monster in your pocket.
