Directors and producers Andy and Lana Wachowski bring a sprawling space opera to life in their 2015 epic, 'Jupiter Ascending'. Mila Kunis stars as a cleaning lady working and living with her mother and aunt in Chicago. Assassins attempt to kill her while she is donating her eggs for money, only to be foiled by a former soldier named Caine Wise, played by Channing Tatum. During the course of the story she uncovers not only her royal heritage, but also a sinister plot that puts the entire human race on Earth in jeopardy. Good movie, good value.
I ordered the new 3D DVD set from thinkingDVD on November 30th, 2016 Wed. and it arrived on December 6th, 2016 Mon. I unwrapped the set and played the 3D movie for my guest, but it hung up. I did not know if it was the fault of the disk or my 3D DVD player and I was really disappointed, not to mention embarrassed, . However, in time, I gave the disk a good cleaning with glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth and this time it played just fine, so now I feel great about buying it.
