Time will tell
Although time will tell, so far the unit works as specified, although the check valve allows the water in the line to slowly return to the base holding tank. And that may not be a bad thing, as I can add a small amount of bleach to the tank (to prevent "gunk" buildup) at monthly filter change; that bleach would not get into the discharge tubing. Hopefully the unit will give me years of perfect service. Ask me for my review again in 5 or 10 years.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Served it's Purpose
The item was delivered on time. The furnace guy thought it should have come with a necessary clamp to secure the furnace hose to the black port, since he had told me that I would be able to connect it w/o his assistance. Because I didn't know about a clamp part, though I did everything else correctly, it was not working properly and leaking water, due to the missing clamp. Almost the same as the old one
This one replaced an old one of a different brand. Unfortunately, the old one had two wires to go to furnace connections and I did not realize that I should have bought the version with the two wires.
