Queen Quilt - NOT IN THE WASHING MACHINE!!!
You absolutely cannot color a 100% cotton Queen size quilt in the washing machine and expect it to come out EVEN. Perhaps in a bathtub with two people handling it but the instruction should tell you NOT TO DO IT. Thankfully I wasn't "emotionally involved" with it. Had it been Granny's I would not have been happy. I used the color dark green, which looked like a light blue. Don't know if I want to try it again as I don't have a horse trough.
