Made To Specs Brass Nut Fit Perfectly
Well made brass nut,exactly right one we needed. This particular one even fit on a nearly new Squier Affinity lefty neck we used on a Stratzilla reverse headstock Hendrix-style build. Lined up the string spacing easily;gave the nut a slight tap from side while guitar was strung. The strings lined up with the dots on fretboard all the way down neck ,also correctly over the pickups. It gave that inexpensive neck some tonal mojo,well worth the time and $$$.

Worked for what I wanted
This brass nut was the least expensive one I could find, and since the radius matched the fret board that it was intended for, it seemed a perfect match. However, the curvature of the nut extended to the underside of the nut as well, so the slot in the neck had to also match the curvature, which took some work. It would have made things easier had the nut been flat on the bottom. At any rate, I managed to get the slot curved enough to fit the nut in there at the right height, and all is well. Looks and sound great. So all in all, I am very happy with the nut.

Hey, I’m an old Rocker, a blast from the past, I can remember getting into an argument with my brother over installing a brass nut in my Fender back in 70’s and I told him calm the F down and let’s try it and see what all the fuss is about and we have changed them out ever since “But” you HAVE ADD A BRASS BRIDGE in order to notice the tonal difference, Trust me your Blackguard Telecaster will Thank you for it, I promise :)

If you use this on a Fender Stratocaster it fits perfectly in the nut position. I didn't have to sand it file it polish it or anything like that I too
