Pleatco PA80 lasts longer, traps pool particles better
Pool Filter Cartridges have improved over the years to trap particles and to wear and last longer even after repeated backwashing. This Pleatco PA80 employs a coated fiber filter, not sure what that coating is, but it reinforces the paper fiber to not break down, and lasts years. Keeps filter pressure low
I got a 3 pack so I can clean one while the pump/filter is running with the other. I have noticed that the 'hub' sometimes catches the air relief tube so I do have the play with it a bit before it settles into the filter.
