    Love This Amp!

For a beginner guitar player, as I am, this amplifier has much more features and power than I need. I do not see myself in need of a new amp for a very long time. Absolutely love it!

Different animal than the Champion 20

Honestly, I purchased this amp because I have the smaller version. I love the sound of the little one so I figured I'd buy the larger version. No dice. I just doesn't sound the same. I'm sure many people will love it but I was fixed on the great sound and richness of the overdrive of the little one. It is a rather expensive paper weight right now. If you're thinking about buying because you loved the Champion 20 sound don't just buy it; go to a music store near you and try it first. IT IS NOT THE SAME SOUND. Cheers brothers!

  • Perfect practice/small gig amp

Great value for the money. It is solid state and has amp modeling and effects that would not be expected in this price range. The "Tweed" and "Jazz" settings are excellent, rich-sounding models.

  • Fender Champion 100 Guitar Amplifier

Very close to new, with a plethora of sound possibilities, at a great price.

  • Oh h*** yeah!

For the money, it's loud, it has a lot of FX, it's easy to use, I love the pedal, basically it rocks! My neighbors hate it.

  • Back to it

Am been playing guitar for 17 plus years. I just got the Amp today and plug my 7 sting ibanez and play to my finger started to bleed. Fender champion 100 is a great value with power to back it up. I love the effects and the metal sound is off the hook. That Fender!!

  • "The Fender Champion 100"

Why should I pay $1500 for a Fender Twin Reverb with 2 12 inch speakers pushing 85 watts RMS between them; when I can buy the Fender Champion 100 with two 12 inch Jensen's pushing 100 watts RMS between them with a plethora of variable tones, new (in a gorgeous black vinyl cabinet with a beautiful silver grill setting me back a grand price of $350.00! No doubt about it...plenty of bang for the buck!

  • Great amp for the money

The combination of clean and dirty channels, combined with the built in effects, and a whole lot of power volume wise makes this a great amp for the money

  • Great amp, BUT...

This is a very good sounding amp but the drawback for me is you can’t combine FX. You can’t have delay and reverb at the same time if you wanted to. Otherwise, it’s a great sounding amp and it doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg to own one. A poor man’s Fender Twin is the best way to describe this amp.

  • Worth getting, especially if you find a big discount.

For the discount price I paid this is a really great amp. I am very tired of lugging around a super heavy tube amp that sucks down electricity like it's going out of style. This amp is light and sound as good if not better than the Fender Super Reverb I just sold. I like the modelling of the various Fender amps. I use the Tweed and Blackface a lot!. The amp can get really loud but in between playing it's dead quiet. No buzz or other tube related nonsense... I have a pedal board so the effect loop in the front is a great feature. I have to say I can easily get by with the builtin effects. So far I like the amp and would recommend it. It's much more than a beginners amp. A pro can work with this amp easily and like it. It would be nice to have an XLR direct out with effects on/off switching, though the AUX works fine for recording.
