My First Oakley Experience is Good
I have worn the same RayBans for 30-some years, but they finally needed replacing. I did the research, and discovered that RayBan and Oakley are owned by the same parent company, so broadened my search to both brands. The particular pair I ended up buying were used Whiskers, because there are lots of options for replacement lenses, even though this model is retired. I am impressed with how new these look - certainly a reflection on the former owner, but also a reflection on the brand. They are still sound in construction and finish, and the lenses have no visible marks, which means that Oakley's lens manufacturing produces good lenses. The "ear socks" are, still, in very good shape, as are the nose pads. However, it is nice to know that I can also replace these, if needed. I am a convert to Oakley, and will certainly keep them in mind when next I need or want new sunglasses!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Saved $50 not going through Oakley
Although the lenses looked great, I am always wary of Fauxkley products on the market. The originals say just Prizm...these say Prizm P. I also noticed a pupil reflection and they were marked with Rx Checked. After investigating, the 'P' after Prizm is on some of their lenses now. The pupil reflection does happen on the originals too...and even though the Rx is checked on the sticker, they are definitely not prescription (unless they are exactly my prescription).
