It is the GIBRALTAR of mounts, one large mammoth of aluminum.. ironically though, its weight is deceptive in that its rather light even though it appears to be beefy! But that "beefy" does apply to its sturdiness. Its really impressive. Warne makes extremely good scope rings, which I have three rifles witch wear them. Quality of this extended scope mount is every bit as good as ANYONE else's, maybe better and a lot less $$$. Great features for the price.

Warne is definitely one of the better mounts out there on the market at a fair price. Mount the scope with the correct torque and you shouldn't have any problems. great for the money
I have Larue and American Defense, but I wanted a mount that was lite and without quick release. It has only gone thru a few hundred rounds but so far so good for the money. I would buy again, in fact I have two on two different rifles.
