Very simplistic no frills low cost device. Use your judgment for your needs.
I am a little baffled by it and what I see on their video instruction. This has 4 simple wires, green/yellow and black/ white. Almost every video including LEDGLOWS shows this unit using the red/black wires for connection to batteries, and yellow/green for devices. Also shows unit having a power switch which this one does not. Had I not read instructions completely before installing, I could have damaged the unit or had a difficult time getting it to work. Especially on a Par car. Par car has a different way of doing things apparently. There is no hook up of this device to the key switch, thankfully my light choice has a separate on/off switch. If you don't know what you're doing, this unit could drain your batteries. I guess for under $30, you get what you pay for. This is NOT something that should be used for multiple 12v systems. Also note, if you do not have close to your 48 volts running to this device, it is likely and almost sure that you will not be able to power anything from this device. Although it does work and serves its intended purpose, I would recommend buying a higher level unit..which is what I will in all likelihood be doing.
