Jack Palance's Dual Identities capture the total package of Good Vs. Evil personalities at War & in conflict. Only Spencer Tracy's Jekyll/Hyde can rival Palace's performance and Curtis' storytelling. If you think I'm "Hyping Up" those 2 Jekyll/Hyde's over HAMMER'S attempt, it's because I AM! "The 2 Faces of Dr. Jekyll" needs plastic surgery. You wouldn't care about EITHER Character. If you like Old Horror it is worth watching
Classic Hammer Horror. Not sophisticated by today's standards, but worth a look anyway, if for nothing else than the casting ensemble. These are professional 'players' and it shows. Hammer Film Collection Vol. 1
This is a great collection. I had never seen the Two Faces Of Dr. Jekyll and it was a great film. It was shot in glorious color and no expenses were spared. This was most surely an A list movie. I grew up in West Texas back in the 1960's and I would go to the Sat. matinee movies every weekend. They always had a Hammer film and I grew to love them. They were almost always paired with an American film, usually a Roger Corman, and the Hammer film was always superior. You also have a great Mummy movie here and The Gorgon is also great.
