I had an IPad 1st Gen and like it but this one, by far, meets my needs. I enjoy the clarity of the screen and the speed that it exhibits during the processes I use it for, which is better than my laptop. It does not get bogged down by memory usage and is easy to manipulate. I also like the camera quality, which is better than my cell phone. This iPad is for my wife. She's iPad illiterate. It came all set up for her to use immediately. All I had to do was add some of her personal apps.
