You hear the reputation of this incredible tome is incredibly high, you naturally prepare yourself to shield your heart for some modern disappointment. Of course, as it is with any classic Allan Moore work, the worries dissipate within the first pages as the narration takes into the horrific and captivating world of the Swamp Thing and his equally fascinating Louisiana bayou backdrop. The art is also pristine level that is ridiculously superior than most pencilers of the current comic industry and I wonder how fortunate Moore was that all his excellent stories had capable pencilers and inkers ready to bring his ideas to fruition. As you can tell, not only am I'm impressed by this work - I finished reading...really devouring....this trade paperback in a couple days- you'll find yourself so enamored with the saga you must continue the journey with Moore.
