Sticker that adheres the alarm onto the wall is BAD.
I bought this to put on a sliding window that didn't always lock properly. I set it up and made sure it worked. It is small so it doesn't look really ugly or anything. It seemed really loud when I tested it out and thought we were all set. UNTIL this morning at 5am. I sleep with my bedroom (2nd floor) door closed with my two doggies. Apparently, the sticker on the alarm portion failed even though I stuck it on and held it up against the wall for a good 5 minutes with pressure. Since the alarm is triggered by being in proximity to a magnet, its detachment from the wall turned the sound on. I didn't hear any of this and was sound asleep upstairs. My dogs didn't bark or anything - and they bark at everything. Apparently my neighbor was up early for work, and when she went to her car (right by our window) and thought it was a fire alarm. Long story short: Don't buy this if you don't want the fire department and a police squad knocking on your door at 5AM trying to rescue you from a fire that is in reality a cheap alarm system.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
