I’ve used this product for the past two years, starting after my cat had a slight flea infestation. So far, with all the neighborhood cats, and opossums and foxes and raccoons that he encounters, Oscar hasn’t had a single flea, tick or louse since. I start applying this in March, then every month, and don’t let up until October. In the little research that I’ve done, Catego’s Selamectin seems to be the safest of any other similar agent; there is no observable side effect. One small negative point...the screw-on delivery cap does not puncture the foil seal as intended by its design. This is an ongoing flaw that will maybe never be fixed, but that’s fine...one just needs to puncture the seal, reattach the delivery cap and be careful not to squeeze the tube before applying the liquid.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I have been using advantage but fleas became immune to it so started using Activyl which worked okay but then became hard to find and doubled in price.
