Oval hitch step
It's good size for what I want. At the long extension it tends to interfere with the reverse sensor on my Ford truck. It would work if it had slots instead of holes so do I could slide it into the extended length I want. The holes I had to drill a bit larger to fit a 1/2 inch Reese locking pin. It cleans up easy and grips well in use

It works
No sooner had I installed it that I backed into a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The hitch step took the hit, not my bumper. And it hit the Jeep low enough to bounce against the airfoil below his front bumper. No harm, no foul. The rubber step pooped off in the impact but it snapped right back into place. So glad I got this since I just got my Highlander a few days before.

I filled the tube with washed sand to enhance the effect of the bumper. It also , with the added weight, eliminated the need for the shim in the receiver( which I didn't get).
