After 11 yrs of service, the fan finally gave up. Was planning on changing the complete unit, but instead decided to just purchase a new replacement fan. Was well worth it and easy to change. Unit is working good and sounds like NEW again. Great product, definitely recommend!

as with everything now days the quality is poor. in the short time this unit has been in service in my bathroom now for right at 20 days the bearings are making noise and a vibration has developed. 20 years ago Nutone put a solid product in that bathroom. the sheet metal the motor is mounted on is not even the same size as the motor assembly this was purchased to replace and does not fill the box completely resulting in blow back. but at least it has the same model number sticker on it. I'm completely disappointed with Nutone's choice to have this unit made so poorly in the name of increased profits for Nutone.

OEM Replacement Motor Assy...
OEM Replacement Motor Assy... Install requires you to remove the light cover, remove the bulb and reflector. Then you unplug the fan and light assy and remove one screw to remove the fan assy. When reassembling, loosen the wing nut if you hear buzzing from the reflector. The fan is a definite upgrade over the original as it has a higher rating 50 vs 70 CFM... It is a louder fan as you hear more air moving.

This was [urchased for a 90 year old house. The bathroom exhaust fan stopped working. I replaced the motor and the people complained that the fan vibrated and was too noisy. I replaced the entire plate, fan and motor and it is now working perfectly. Your price for the entire assembly was cheaper than the price of the previous motor that I had purchased.
