A fair deal for the money
Went from an LG to this Moto E based mainly on the reviews I read plus this is a 4G phone. Data transfer rate is better with the 4G however, phone signal is still pretty much the same. This isn't my first phone so figuring out many things was similar but not with everything. Lack of information in the so called "instruction" book would leave many users pretty frustrated. Price of the phone, about $60, is quite a bargain when compared to some that are up in the 5 to $600 range. Camera is excellent in day light but darker conditions can produce some pretty crummy pictures. The phone, I'm sure, has many extras that I will never use and with the poor instructions would never know about. For the average user, grab one of these and take the $600 you saved on an I-phone and get all your Christmas shopping done.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent smal phone
If you like smaller phones this is the one to get on the cheap. Can work with other carriers (not out of the box though). With google updates you'll be constantly running out of memory (8GB on board) but this can be dealt with by cleaning cached content.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great little phone
I paid $20 for this phone which makes it a good value priced item for me. I can't say I'm sure of the average price for this. It has an appealing form and feel. Mine does not have a working SIM tray which I knew when I bought it. However I wanted it only to carry my savings apps and Word hero etc. My main phone is a Blackberry Passport which I love because it has a keyboard and a huge widescreen . However it is very exclusive and it's apps and doesn't carry Android apps. This is been working really well, but I've only had it for less than a day. My son loves it as well for his games even though his dad bought him a Google Pixel last year. So the original idea was that I would have a phone since I can't use his when he's home from school but it seems he loves it so I'm actually abusing his phone when he's home. :) Our next purchase is definitely another computer since water spilled on our laptop keyboard!

I did a lot of research before deciding on this phone. The choice was a good one. The OS install is lean and fast, with no extra junk installed. Battery life is excellent. The camera takes good pictures. The screen is beautiful. The phone feels sturdy without feeling clunky, and very high quality. I am very pleased with this phone. Simple to set up and use. Seems to have good battery life, but does take a little while to charge. Apps downloaded easily and work fine. Mine came with a bonus shell, which is nice, but I wish the rim on the front was a bit deeper to protect the glass in case of drops. Be aware that if you buy a "prepaid" packages, you may have difficulty transferring it to a contract plan. I purchased the phone as a replacement for my broken phone on a contract plan. Thankfully I did not have any trouble transferring it, but the Verizon employee said that sometimes they are unable to transfer until the phone has been activated as a prepaid phone for six months.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great features you'll love..
A very nice cell with lots of features which surprised me. Just 1 con, you can hear little vibration when hearing a call, I don't know if it's the bass in the speakers but still a great phone for the price. If you want to keep your number and plan you will need to buy a sim card and not use the one it comes with which will just give you a new number and start with a new plan.
