Crystal Dynamics' Lara Croft reboot continues as players join the famed adventurer's quest to discover the secret of immortality in Rise of the Tomb Raider. With her exploits in 2013's Tomb Raider covered up by the Trinity organization, Croft sets off to expose the truth behind ancient myths, beginning with a search for the fabled Siberian city of Kitezh. The third-person action is set in epic environments full of ferocious wild animals, unstable footing, and variable weather, and gameplay consists of exploration, puzzle solving, and a mix of brute combat and stealth attacks.<br><br>Rise of the Tomb Raider features a crafting system that lets players gather materials from plants and animals to make important items, and Croft can now interact with the environment in new ways, including climbing trees, hiding behind bushes, and swimming underwater to confuse or avoid enemies. Gamers can wield a variety of weapons and tools, including pistols, a climbing ax, a bow-and-arrow, explosives, and the new hunting knife, and tomb exploration remains a key part of the action, with Croft solving a variety of environmental puzzles in order to acquire treasures and uncover clues about the ancient city.

good game,UPDATE FIRST BEFORE PLAYING on xbox360 !-not-so challenging puzzles
UPDATE HEADS UP! -well known (but not to me) glitch in game!,get all updates while online with xbox360! Glitch / bug is in Geothermal valley at bottom of waterfall is a cave/tomb, DO NOT GO IN THERE TILL AFTER NEXT LEVEL!(if you get notice "need rebreather" it's too late!) (or before updating xbox),,if you do you get STUCK during the big battle in the next chapter! Outside of that puzzles are not very challenging and far between-wish for more. Another note; game is not "linear",many locations mush be revisited later due to not having certain skills or tools so get ready to flip-flop around in game a lot,I was puzzled about many tombs I could not enter with no explanation.

Terrible Game
Tomb Raider 2013 is way better. The action is terrible it's so easy to kill the bad guys, takes a lot to up grade your weapons, hardly any action , I would not recommend this game.

How can you go wrong with ANY Tomb Raider game? This game has it all! A quick action packed pace, multiple weapon assortment, intelligent NPCs, great plot and dialogue. Did I forget to mention the edge of your seat thrills!? The archeological search for ancient artifacts with mysterious powers is a compelling lure that excites wonder and fascination. It's the best thing going!

Gameplay is awesome, who knew that Xbox 360 could deal with graphics this detailed?! If you're unsure, check out the side by side videos on YouTube of the PS4 graphics versus Xbox360, not much difference! Very good story, much more RPG than other Tomb Raider games, which is neat.

Excellent game in so many different aspects
I've been really enjoying this game. The graphics are superb and the story line was very good as well. I've always been very impressed with the Tomb Raider series of games. The graphics are always top notch and there's never any annoying micro-transactions like you find with other games these days.

Good but not enough
Game is too easy on any level and is too short to complete. For 25 bucks I expected at least 75 hours of more game play. The next chapter best be more challenging. I think the next adventure is taking Laura to Central and South America ... 🌎

Of course it's going to be buggy for a last generation game but thank you square enix for putting your magic touch on the tomb raider franchise. Completely compelling and you get lost in the story. Love that there are more tombs and more adventure.
