Terrific product. Highly recommended.
This unit was ordered for our model train club because we wanted to go wireless. Set up was quick and easy. Basic app downloaded quickly and was free. We have a work station for programming so we didn't choose a different app that was still only about $4. In just a few minutes we were running trains with our iphones. LNWI to operate our trains.
Set up was easy. I am using Engine Driver and found the communication between the phone app and the LNWI to work better than antipated. We have heard that WiFi link may be the weak link. I have been able to communicate from the back room and from outside the building with no system issues. Others, using different apps, have not been as successful. In my opinion, this device is the "greatest thing since sliced bread". It frees the model railroader from being "tethered" to his/her control devices by allowing you to walk around while controlling your trains/turnouts. I absolutely love mine.
