Recommended and great value
Pioneer is a trusted name in car audio (if not home audio anymore). Luckily they are still decent if not as highly rated as previously. Maybe we have sacrificed cutting edge for economy. That doesn't mean you should avoid their systems. I am very pleased with this unit. It's not as powerful as a JVC one I have in another car, but I now own three of these (two installed, one to be installed) and I am very satisfied with its features. Mostly the USB and Bluetooth. Very nice double DIN with Bluetooth
Stereo install was easy, and programming is not bad. I do with they'd include better wiring instructions (INCLUDING a diagram would help), but you can do it by the info provided. They could also wire it to include power antenna AND AMP.. you have to choose one or the other.. Replaced a stock stereo in Honda Ridgeline with this head unit and Infinity reference speakers and 2 Cerwin-Vega tweeters . I immediately went on a 2500 mile road trip from SC to NM . The sound is incredible and even an old codger like me had the controls figured out in no time . Some You Tube videos did help . i haven't changed the speakers yet in my 02 f-150 and it sounds better and gets louder. was easy to learn and set up. my lg g3 works flawlessly with it. in a call people hear me well. i put the mic. on the visor. i was looking for a super tuner. this radio doesn't say it is; nor would i say it either. all though it does pick up stations as good as any other radio; except for a super tuner. i don't fill like i got screwed because this is a really nice radio for the money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
