Good dollar value
I took some time to really look at the different 2200 watt Generators on the market. My work has the Honda, which by far is the best on the market but...it will cost you as well. I did not want to spend that much money but still wanted something reliable, pretty quiet and good quality. The Ryobi, so far, has met those standards. It is not as quiet as the Honda's but it is not bad. It started right up on the second pull and had no problem running 1500w electric tools and compressors. Quite it and easy to use

Awesome Generator
We love our Ryobi 2200 watt generator. We just used it on a 2.5 week camping trip in our 5th wheel. I left the Generator in the bed of our truck and powered the camper for 9 hours on one tank of fuel. Of course we were power conscious during that time. Very good inverter generator!
Really quiet too! I've only used it a couple times while camping, but sure glad I bought it. Much cheaper than the well-known red ones from the company that starts with an 'H'. Almost as quiet and similar quality too. Love the wheels and handle. Just don't stow it on its side. I found this out the hard way. Soaked the storage area on my RV with gas! My rookie-mistake. Good Generator
This generator came as "Rebuilt/New" and it did look new. The vendor didn't take all of the oil out so there was a bit of cleaning. After refilling with oil, it started after a few pulls. Subsequent starts have been 1 or 2 pulls. It runs quietly, maybe just a tad bit noisier than a Honda, but not much at all. This does run a 15 AMP item where the Honda is a little iffy. It's light enough to pick up and put in the RV, and has 2 handles so two can share the load, if need be. The built-in handle and wheels enhance portability. The handles also make a good place to run a cable lock, because this could easily be stolen. I've had it a couple of weeks, so I can't speak to longevity. has been great so far, I have load tested it with a 1500 watt heater, no problems. Excellent inverter generator!!!!
I already used it the past week. I was able to connect a “side by side” fridge, three fans, a 48 "TV and two light bulbs. I dont try to turn on anything else. I love how downloading the application in my iPhone, I can see the amount of gas and oil used. Also the power to turn it off from my iPhone.
