  • I liked the MRO so much I ordered a second one.

The tube is big and crystal clear, making picking up targets fast and reflexive. Many other red dot sights have glass that reflects too much, distracting your eye. Or they have the effect of making you focus first on the body of the sight, and not through the tube as soon as you bring the weapon up. Turret windage and elevation adjustments are set flush into the body of the scope and there are no caps to lose. The brightness adjustment is easy and bright enough for sunny days in FL; I have not used the MRO with night vision. The Trijicon brand mounts have two crossbolts intended for 1913 spec rails, so if you have a non-spec or Weaver rail you may want to get the bare sight and add a mount. I used an American Defense (single cross bolt) mount for the FNH SLP MK II rail. Buy an MRO, you won't be disappointed.

  • Excellent

5 year watch battery and compact size won me over enough to buy a second one. The first gen have a very slight magnification which in my opinion is a bonus. To others calling it s fish-eye effect are exaggerating how much it magnifies. With older eyes I will call it an edge and happy I have 2 before Trijicon "fixed" it. My prior red-dot type was an Eotech with AA batteries that drained batteries frequently and had corrosion issues with storage. Although Eotech is a quality product, I prefer the 2 MOA dot.

  • Trijicon MRO, so good I bought another!

I own several red dot sights and scopes. Trijicon is a proven company producing high performing optics. Very long battery life on the MRO, waterproof to 100 feet, light yet robust and great clarity. I could go on and on with the MRO. For the price and quality you would be foolish not to consider this over an aimpoint or other similar high end optics. Mounted with an American Defense quick detach mount makes it my go to red dot set up!

  • Trijicon MRO w/Scalarworks Optic Mount

Great product whether it is brand new or used. Received this product, mounted it, took it to zero, and had to do no zeroing as it had maintained it zero. I also love the scalarworks mount that came with the MRO. It is my first scalarworks product, and I will be looking to obtain more of their products down the road

  • Great HD optic

Purchased the trijicon mro to replace a eotech exps3 and could not be more pleased. The mro offers in my opinion the same field of view as the eotech, super quick transition between targets, and great battery life so far. To top it off its made in the U.S. which is always a plus. Definitely a great optic, and I shoot better with it than any aimpoint I've ever used.

  • Fantastic mini red dot

Overall quality is what you expect form Trijicon. The unit is compact and light weight and is designed to use with both eyes open. The battery life is about 5 years when left on lowest setting is about 5 years, much longer when turned off when not in use. Multiple settings for different light conditions. Very generous eye relief makes it possible to use on a variety of firearms. My only regret is that I didn't buy one earlier.

  • Right on the money!

Trijicon quality in the mid range price point! Couldn't ask for more. Turrets are easy and audible. 2MOA dot crisp and clear. Buy a nice mount for it and you're good to go. Can easy hit steel at 300yds with no magnification. Only issue I found is a bit of a red glare with bright light hitting the rear of the optic, but it's manageable. I'm sure it's from the coatings they have to use on the lenses. Not a problem or deal breaker for me. 5 star optic. Love it.

  • Trijicon MRO red dot rifle sight review

It's a Trijicon, built to take on whatever abuse. Can be left on 2 or 3 setting 24/7 for 4 years. Only negative I can find is there is a bit of haloing in the sight under certain lighting conditions, but its not a deal breaker for me. Rock solid and great glass.....wouldn't expect anything less from Trijicon. TangoDown makes a rubberized MRO body sleeve/lens caps for it. Put one on my MRO yesterday.

  • Built very well

, dot can be nuclear bright if turned all the way up. The field of view on this optic is great it almost disappears with both eyes open, not like other red dots where you get a tube affect. I usually only need it set on 4 in bright sun light. There is a small amount of verticle parallax with my check weld. When I would raise my head slight I noticed the dot would move. So I did some adjusting on elevation and got it set so it wasn't as bad, I lowered my elevation to where my cheek weld was so when I lifted my head slightly it would move. After all my reviews all red dots have some sort of parallax be it horizontal or verticle. If it was not for that I would give five stars. There is a very light blue tint that some people complain about but outside i do not notice it. It is the coatings they use on the glass. It looks to be super close to true 1x if not I cannot tell it with my eyes. This is the updated version which came out after serial number 89000 if I'm not mistaking. Hopefully this helps.

  • A very nice compact dod sight

The Trijicon MRO is a really nice Dot sight. It has a 25 mm aperture which is larger than most of the dot sights out there. It has a thin tube wall which makes shooting with both eyes open a lot easier. The field of view is very good. It is short and light weight also an advantage. Down sides are that the dot is not as perfect as some of the really top line dights. It is good but far from perfect. This really shows up when you put a magnifier behind the dight. Another minor complaint is that the graduations on the windage and elevation adjustments are bloody tiny. You really need a manifier to be able to "count clicks" on the adjustment Overall itis a very good sight.
