A real time- & life-saver!
I'm helping some friends restore an older house, complete with plaster ceiling moldings and center medallions, and nothing we've tried compares to Peel Away. This is a great product for removing layers of paint. Be sure to wear chemical gloves as it is very caustic. If you have back problems, the 5 gallon bucket is very heavy., but there is a cost savings over buying multiple 1 1/4 lb buckets.

Scrapes off like butter with a butter knife
I have used this product multiple times on a historic house. Takes a little time, a few days to set on 100 year old very thick and alligatored paint. Comes off like butter and can smell the linseed oil paint when removing.

pros, works well and clean to apply, cons, need a second round of coat if paint is thick but it softens the wood. clean up is as much work as applying. very corrosive on skin as it warns on the box.
