Good for extended wear - comfortable & light weight
If these could attenuate just a bit more they would be great. They are easy to insert and remain comfortable for a long time and hardly noticeable to someone sitting near you. They make a great seal in you ear canals and the silicone rubber is soft and easy to clean with a wipe of water or alcohol. That said, there was a little more loss in fidelity and the 12db attenuation was enough for some showroom shows we attended on our recent cruise. However, these could not stand up to the higher volume of the blues club in the more confined lounge space. Well worth the investment.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Save your hearing
I bought these for two reasons. 1 to play my electric guitar without adding to my hearing loss and 2 to go to concerts and not add to my hearing loss. They are easy to put in your ears and are comfortable to wear. I can still hear the music but not have the volume hurt. I love them. Ear Plugs for guitar
The fender earplugs are working excellent, they absolutely prevent any ringing in the ears from loud music. The sound is muffled a bit, and that's to be expected. I Tried - Just Not Worth It!

Muffled hearing
These are rated at 12db reduction to all frequencies. I have also tried ear plugs rated at 19 and 27db. All three sets will cause muffled hearing when fully inserted so that a full seal is attaine, something like being underwater. For a musician, it's too much reduction. When fully inserted, I cannot tell the difference between the different sets of ear plugs. If you pull them back a little bit, then the sound goes around the edges rather than through the core. I'm not sure that this makes much reduction at all. Bottom line... they will protect your hearing if fully inserted, but they will put all attempts at enjoyable music experience beyond reach. You might as well put fingers fully into your ears and try to enjoy music.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
