Great Intermediate Camera
This is a GREAT camera, however, the lens selection really stunts the possibilities for professionals. It is fantastic for video, especially when used with prime lenses. As Tony Northrup said, "It's a jack of all trades and a master of none." Really, if you were to buy all the best lenses for it, you still can't specialize with this camera at the moment. Other than that, it's got all the bells and whistles and I find it very easy to use and learn about. For people with large hands, the camera may feel small. Needs a serious firmware update
Bad metering, yellow cast to jpegs, lack of midtones in images, overall mediocre IQ. This should have been an amazing camera given the options for tweaking and 4K and maybe I got the lemon, but despite any efforts through modifying WB color and experimenting with different metering modes I had trouble shooting acceptable images. Given all the positive reviews I was expecting a different. camera. Great Camera BUT
This is a great small, light, camera. The picture quality is super. It is complicated because of its focus tracking but if you want action photos this is what you get. The BIG problem is the limitation of lenses and the cost of these lenses. However, small is better than large if you are walking around a tropical Island.
