If it is your first time using, you may gag a little bit as you may not be used to sticking something at the back of your tongue but you will eventually get used to it. Don't scrape with too much pressure or you will cut your tongue and start bleeding. Each scrape, you should always spit. After you're done, just rinse your mouth with water or listerine and you should be good to go!
