Better than I thought!!
I'm new to metal detecting. I wanted a machine that wasn't too expensive but capable of being used after I gain some experience. This machine has been great so far. Also it has been very accurate. I haven't found a great payday yet but I've found some really cool stuff. For this beginner the garrett ace 300 has been great

New Garrett 300 metal detector
I've had several other metal detectors that cost as much as this one, but this one seems to pick up a hundred times stronger and more targets. I'm still learning on it but it is going good so far. And I really like the pinpoint accuracy on it and how sensitive it is to picking up stuff I expect to find a lot of stuff this year.
