Powerful saw. Cuts up to 4" diameter with ease. Compact, lightweight and well constructed
Great tool for trimming tree branches. I bought it mainly to use with my 19" smokeless firepit. It works well when cutting 4" or less diameter wood to fit inside my firepit. Its also handy for trimming trees, especially from a ladder where a full size chainsaw is just too much tool and too dangerous to manipulate on such a small platform. The saw is more powerful than I imagined from a 12v motor. The only issue is the safety switch that needs to be engaged with the trigger, I have arthritis in my thumb which makes it a little difficult. However, the safety switch can be operated right or left handed. I'm glad I bought it..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Surprisingly Strong Saw
I was a bit skeptical about the small size, but this saw works surprisingly well. It cuts great! I used it hard testing it and the motor runs strong without heating up. The 12 volt batteries need changing sooner than the higher voltage models, of course, but I've got extras. Change them out and keep going. This is a nice light tool and easy to use, even with one hand. I like the M12 line of tools and am building a collection of them. They work well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Versatile tool
I have used this tool extensively since purchased. It is light and easy to maneuver. The battery lasts far longer than I would have imagined. It cuts through tree branches 2 to 3 inches in diameter quickly and cleanly. I probably made 80 or more cuts and still had charge in the battery. Another tool for my M12 pile
I purchased the M12 sawzall type tool earlier, and it works well for most things, but not so well on cutting larger brush and limbs. This only has a 6" bar which should cover most of my smaller limb cutting. It will be interesting to see how much cutting i can do on a charge.
