Bad product
This product was just terrible. Followed instructions o he letter. Two grown men, one a long time mechanic with strong hands could not get the boot cover over the cone. Even tried a heat gun which didn't work. Could never have done this on the trail since we couldn't do it at the shop. The clamps that were in the kit were also useless. No way to clamp them tightly, they were a complete wast. As near as we could tell the only thing that was of decent quality was the boot itself, that would have worked fine if you could get it clamped. We were never able to use the cone device and we tried both using a small amount of lube and a generous amount of lube. Could not get the boot to stretch far enough with four hands pulling, pushing, pressing or sliding. Any use of a tool would tear the boot material. Heating melted the material. Went through two kits trying everything we could think of after following the instructions explicitly was a complete fail! Ended up having to remove the axle and inner joint which defeated the purpose of buying that type of kit.

This is a nice kit that includes the cone tool to help in ease of installation. OEM boots were no longer available for a 1998-99 Ltf250 so these were our only alternative. Great substitute.
