Great addition, well built and useful.
Great bags for everyday use and traveling. They are small enough to stay out of the way - not constantly kicking them as I mount my V-Strom - but carry enough to be useful. I can put my winter jacket liner, sweater layer, and a couple bottles of water in just one side. Adding a tail box makes them touring friendly. Probably the biggest upgrades from previous versions of this box is also one of the most appreciated. On earlier boxes like this from Givi, you had to put the key in a spring loaded "release" mode, sometimes difficult to do with gloves on. On these, their is a large button front and center after unlocking the box. Press it down and the box releases.

Great looking, sit very tight, open from the top, scratched too easy
The GIVI fit perfectly on my 2017 Honda NC700x DCT. With GIVI system they are tight sitting and I like the opening from the top as well. When removed from the bike there are no extra brackets sticking out on the cases like on the SHAD 3p setup so I preferred this one over it. I think however they are somewhat overpriced for what you get and the worse thing that they are scratch easy. I manage to scratch it with my rubber sole of my shoe. How rubber can scratch plastic is beyond me. If the material will be better, it would have gotten 5 stars.

A few kind words about GIVI....
I thought for the price-point that they might be kinda flimsy and cheap-looking,but they were very affordable and what I was looking for. I was surprised when I opened the box and pulled them out... they are anything but ! Very satisfied and when I mounted them to my GIVI racks,I was even more pleasantly surprised to find out the fit and finish is above what I expected. A very solid click is heard when installed,and super easy to install & remove. They lock and are top-loaders,that's why I bought them. For commuting and short trips,they should be perfect. They look great on my bike (2011 Suzuki 650 V-Strom) and are not bulky looking at all. Buy them. You'll be happy you did ! Givi bags for a Vulcan S
I put these on my 2022 Kawasaki Vulcan S. They were easy to install and look good on the bike. There is sufficient room for my motorcycle coat in one side and the gloves, tools and anything else I want to put in it. Like the hard surface of the bags. It would be nice if Givi would put some kind of reflective film on them, especially on the sides. Are they big? No. Are they well made? Sort of...These are great around town for extra storage and to help make your ride a little more useful than a toy. The case itself is well made and sturdy. My only complaint is the locking and release mechanism feels a little cheap. Not even close to same quality as my Givi 47 carbon top case. But these just look so good on a sport tourer it is a detail I'm willing to overlook. These panniers are not for a weeklong ride (or even a weekend). But for random things like drinks, baseball gloves, shoes, ect...they will work just fine and look great too. Get another big and ugly set for real traveling though.

Lightweight and easy to remove.
I am satisfied with these panniers. They are small but that was expected. Super light weight and fairly slim profile. Lid must be locked to be closed?
Had them only a week, so maybe not that insightful a review. They do seem of good quality, and are really secure in their brackets which mounted well to my RE INT 650. Negative: if lid is closed, they are locked. You can't have lid closed and unlocked, which necessitates extra key usage which annoys me a bit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
