Very happy
This keyboard was in almost perfect condition. One tiny less than 3 mm scratch on the bottom that may have come from the packaging. The extra battery makes the venue like a laptop with 10+ hours of life. It is a little heavy but as expected. I can't believe I went a year without this attachment. I took one start off for the touch pad. It is a little too small and the two finger scroll is funky depending on the browser/app I use. Battery completely depleted
At first, I was unable to get the battery in this keyboard to charge. It came with the battery completely discharged to the point that it would not charge with the tablet attached. I knew that I had to jump start it charging the keyboard micro USB port. However, when I plugged the charging cable to it, the charging light would turn on for a few seconds and then turned off aborting the charge cycle. I was ready to return the keyboard until I tried a second and third try. It took me about six more tries before it eventually stopped aborting the charge cycle. Now, it seems to be working, but I am worried about the longevity of this keyboard battery as I have read that completely discharging this type of battery is harmful to it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Included battery would not charge, but not surprising as it probably has been setting on the shelf close to 8-10 years from when Dell introduced the Venue 11 Pro 7000 around 2015. I bought a "new" battery on eBay in anticipation of this situation (although it seems that it does not quite charge up to its spec, but that battery was probably fairly old, too, even though "new"). Technical problems

The keyboard works, but the trackpad isn't smooth if the keyboard is flexed in any way. I would endorse this keyboard for its compact nature
The keyboard works. The internal battery was drained below the minimum voltage as the seller hinted. This is a known issue. At least the keyboard and trackpad work as advertised. I'll take it apart and charge the battery directly, to see if that helps. Solid keyboard, but too heavy.
Its a good solid item. The negative is the weight. Because it has an internal battery it weighs a lot. this makes whole tablet very heavy. The angle of opening is also too small. Charging Dock
There is no charging dock on his keyboard as advertised. You basically plug in the port cord to the charging port, and there is a loose connection and it charges intermittently, most the time it doesn't charge at all. If you move it around the light will come on, but then it goes off again because of a bad connection. This is a design flaw by Dell, I realize it's not the sellers problem; however, I have had three of these keyboards and they have all done the same thing ! It makes it impossible to get the keyboard a full charge, It does not allow for a full charge on the laptop.
