Pros: Light weight, attractive. Multi-function. Entire text message can be read, quick preset reply for texting, incoming call notification with ability to reject with preset message. Brief weather report can be obtained on certain watch faces. Able to push music to the band from your phone and listen on a blue tooth device. Can download for free or purchase watch faces. can keep track of water and caffeine intake. HR monitor, timer, stop watch available Cons: Battery life 2 days with minimal use, moderate use 1-1.5 days. Cannot use custom text message replies unless you have Samsung phone, same with answering the incoming phone call. No indicator for active time on the wrist band, shows calories, steps and floors depending on the watch face you choose. Floors is inaccurate -a lot. Less than Impressed
This isn't a terrible product, but it hasn't lived up to my expectations for a fitness tracker. Its got some cool features, like sleep monitoring and some "smart watch" features like getting texts and emails on your watch, but some of the critical components like heart rate monitor and calories burned aren't recorded accurately. The device has never shown my pulse to be higher than 91 despite the fact that I do 30-45 minutes of vigorous exercise several times a week. I know my pulse is much higher than that during workouts. And the formula used to determine calorie burn is tied to heart rate so that is therefore also not accurate. Awesome Upgrade
The Gear Fit 2 is awesome. I really have not had any problems with the band as others have complained about. Beautiful screen and easier to maneuver through settings. My only complaint (which has nothing to do with the mechanics of the watch/tracker) is that you no longer can add your own faces or background pictures. You will need to download them. Good activity tracker
Great mix of active and passive features. I get a HR tracker and a sleep tracker that is easy to carry and use that also tells me the time. 1 small problem the band broke very easily which can be annoying to some that cant effectively repair something like that. AMAZING product. Shame about the battery
This item was exactly what I expected from the reviews I saw. Screen is beautiful, functionality it great, looks fantastic. Someone commented they had an issue with the strap but suspect they may have been using a small on a large wrist. I've had no issues as all, in the gym or otherwise. Samsung Gear-Fit 2 - Totally Brilliant!
Samsung Gear-Fit 2, easy to use, lightweight and great battery life, I used it for 3 days before I charged it and it still had 15% battery remaining. It constantly takes heart rate readings and records them on my phone which is excellent for me. Also can track how much coffee and water I drink in a day. I find the step count is accurate and also records when I go up flights of stairs. Another thing I found so helpful was how it records how I sleep, which for someone with sleep problems is a great tool. The band also vibrates and let's me know when I've been inactive for long periods, which motivates me to move. Moving Up the Learning Curve
I have had a Fitbit Flex (first generation) for a few years and I wanted to get a device that provided more information on my wrist than just flashing lights. I looked at several fitness band/watch options and chose the Samsung Gear Fit 2 since my wife and I both have Samsung Galaxy smart phones and there is total compatibility between the 2 devices. I found a great listing for 2 new Fit 2's on Ebay from a seller that didn't have a Samsung phone and found out that certain components weren't available on their iPhones, so they priced these units to sell. I had a bit of a problem initially trying to charge my Fit 2 but eventually got it working then moved on to the pairing and app connection process. Again, it was a bit of a challenge but both my wife and I got our devices up and running and now we're learning how to use them. I can't vouch for the accuracy of detecting activity since these are new, but no device is able to be 100% right on.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The Samsung Gear fit 2 it is really nice, is very, very comfortable, ergonomic and beautiful. Great value
Doesn't play well with Pixel 4 but better than Fitbit. What I really like best is I can download Endomondo onto the Watch, then the watch and phone sync every workout. Lots of activity choices with Endo which is good for me, doing different workout type every day. Battery life, much better on this watch than my old gear fit 2 from 2015. Disappointing to have such trouble with messages and phone calls. These are erratic, but great when working. Small band fits my tiny wrist.
