  • Ask the Year Incense was made BEFORE you Buy...

QUALITY is good (hand rolled vs. dipped), PRICE is right (12 boxes of 15 grams each for under $20), Each box has about 12 STICKS and sticks MEASURE about 8 inches (20 cm). Burning stick LASTS about an hour! Incense SMELLS sweet(ish) coming out of the box. BUT, smelled more like SMOKE when it burned (and NOT the clean, sweet smell of Palo Santo). I believe I might have received a really old batch. But, there's no way of knowing because none of the boxes have the year the Incense was made. **I've bought 'Nag Champa' from this Brand (SATYA) before, and they've always had the year on the "Authenticity Sticker." So, not sure if they've stopped doing this, OR? Possibly, that's what Palo Santo Incense from this Brand (SATYA) smell like, all the time?... I'm not sure. But, I'm really comparing the "clean, sweet smell" to the burning of actual Palo Santo Wood Sticks (directly from a dried tree) - which I know Incense is not the same as the "real" thing; BUT, the burning smell of this Incense is not even close to burning Palo Santo Wood Sticks, in my humble opinion.
