Too difficult to instal on aircraft
We imported this product from the US before travelling to Orlando. It is the lightest one we could find, which is both FAA approved, suitable for forward positioning on an aircraft and usable for reverse seat travel in the US. Eventually we figured out how to use it in the US car with the US Isofix and it then proved easy enough to install into the UK car, after that practice. However, its main purpose, since it is FAA approved, was for the flight from the UK to the US, since we had purchased a seat for my 11month old grandson. Even the flight attendants couldn't resolve that one. On the outward journey to the US, one of the flight attendants somehow managed to secure it after many others attempted. On the return journey, the fixed end of the seatbelt which goes through the rear of the car seat, ended up in the middle of my grandson's back, which was far too uncomfortable, so we decided not to use it at all. The attendants tried hard to resolve the problem, but could find no solution. In any event, an extension safety belt attached to the adult, still has to be used at all times when the seatbelt is on. Disappointing outcome, after the very high import cost.
