  • Newest Technology for TV's & the pitcher is oh WOW ,great

Newest Technology for TV's & the pitcher is oh WOW ,great . This is the best TV I have EVER seen, the screen is so clear in 4K or upscaling from 1080p for also a GREAT pitcher. Good :: Pic is super clear, High Dynamic Range for unreal resolution on the TV screen. smart TV ,so far the smartest, easy set up, never had to read derictions it was so easy. Fucher proof as the new '''OLED''' tech is the newest abd best. worth every cent...my 4K 8000 series in Samsung is just setting in a empty room now, I will sell it, because when you see the clear TV it's like looking though a window. I could never go back to LED again after seeing this one. Cons :: being new and only 1 maker the price is a bit higher, but like all tec it will come down in price very soon.] other than that, there are no other cons, just a new great quality TV

  • Great TV!

I love this TV. I had to replace a Sony TV that unexpectedly died at only five years only. This was widely reviewed as one of the best TVs from 2016, but it was kind of expensive. Until I saw the price ielectrica was selling them for - 25% less than almost any other place. I could resist the bargain, and I'm glad I made the decision. Blacks are pure black, colors are amazingly accurate and not overblown like some TVs - they're correct, not just strong. I can't speak to the audio aspect because I just run all the sound through my home theatre sound system (which is great), but the video is perfect. I hope this TV lasts 20 years, because I don't see how it can be improved on.

  • Excellent Picture Quality, Pretty Future Proof Purchase

After breaking the tv about a week (over 100 hours) what can I say? This TV calibrates perfectly. Only used a Disney WOW disc at the moment and is almost perfect without even needing a colorometer ( At least for the panel I got). Only issue I have had with this tv was as one of my sources was a computer and black lines came across my screen every few seconds. This was fixed by changing where I connected my HDMI cable. Connecting it from port 1 to port 3 fixed this just fine. HDR works fine on the PC (RE7 and SW2 specifically). You may need to download the latest update from LG website. My tv did NOT pick up on the latest update automatically so had to update manually with a usb drive. Took maybe 8 min. Have NOT had a burn in problem at all with this tv. Slight image retention from leaving it on the same screen with no screen saver but went away after 3 min of watching something. Input lag with the latest update for me is non existent. Around 28ms with 3840 x 2160 4:4:4 60hz 8bpc Black Level Full NCP Settings. Only Con is the Auto Dimming on a full white screen or certain percentage of bright light on the screen (ABL) but that is inherent to all OLED TVs atm. What can I say. A++++ experience for me.

  • Excellent OLED Smart TV

OLED55B6P Wow! Color, brightness, contrast are excellent WebOS is very easy to use Upscales to 4k very well (Blu-ray perfect, most DVDs very good) Note: even if you have a 4k source, you won't see the extra detail unless you sit within 8 feet of the 55" screen. (which is too close for me.) Remember to check for firmware updates (when I checked on April 4, 2017 there was one available.) Sound from the TV is okay. But, if you want real sound connect to an AV receiver via HDMI cable or TOS optical cable to get full 7.2 surround.

  • Awesome OLED 55

Awesome picture. Researched that this TV is the best picture CNET has even seen. $700 less than Sams Club. Followed the set up 'pictures'. They did not reference where the screws/remote/manual/etc were. They were in the top of the hard foam packing which they did not reference in the 'unpacking pictures'. THE BASE SCREWS/REMOTE/MANUAL/ETC ARE PACKAGED WITHIN THE FOAM ON THE TOP OF THE BOX. Shipped Fed Ex ground. Missed the first delivery attempt and had to stay home the next day to sign for it. Wish I had the ability to have delivery window but Fed Ex does not. They did say it should be around the same time as they tried to deliver the day before. It was within an hour of the previous day before. I found that time by tracking it at Fed Ex.

  • I NEVER WANT TO LEAVE MY HOUSE AGAIN

This TV got a great review on CNET so I already had high expectations, but this TV has surpassed even those! It streams everything so you don't need a Roku or a PlayStation. The picture is amazing and I just don't ever want to stop watching it. Also, I ordered the tv on Thursday thinking it would take maybe a week to arrive. Surprisingly, the tv was at my front door the next afternoon. It was easy to set up and I want one in every room in my house. I highly recommend the product and the seller.

  • Best picture I've ever seen on a tv

I was a little wary as the deal fell into the "too good to be true" bucket, but I can confirm the set arrived new in box and exactly as described. Once put together and in use, it is jaw dropping, with the most vibrant colors and perfect blacks of any TV i've ever seen. The shipping came from CA instead of FL so it even got here faster than I expected by about a week. I'm not impressed, I'm blown away by this set.

  • OLED is the new Plasma & so much more

The OLED55B6P replaced a 10 year old 50" Pioneer HD plasma in a full home theater setup so this review will be about image only. The first time I turned on the unit is sounded strange (TV speakers + HT) & turning off the set's speakers fixed that. I use the optical out to get audio to the rest of the system. BTW, even though this TV has a 5" larger image than the old one, it was an inch narrower and shorter. The plasma was also 108#, 3" thick and drew 480 watts while operating. Setup was a snap. It walks you through and very quickly you're able to watch stuff. It found my home's WiFi & all I had to do was supply a password. Some folks complain about no manual. I downloaded the pdf of the manual before the TV arrived but I haven't looked at it. TV tuner: The TV found all the stations that my HTPC tuners did from the antenna and displayed them about the same. I miss PIP. Images actually look a little better through the HTPC, however, but I think it's due to upscaling through the video card vs the TV itself. Remote: I was pretty leery of the "magic remote" supplied from some of the complaints I've read. I have to say it was one of my best surprises. Within a minute it was as natural as using a mouse (natural to me, I'm a computer guy) and MUCH, MUCH easier than using a direction ring to step through menus. My wife picked it up (non-techie) with the same result. It does not have a huge range of components it can control so we'll still be using the Harmony for all the other HT components. Picture: Coming from plasma we're use to rich accurate color and contrast. What positively blew me away was how much sharper 4kUHD was than 1920x1080 from 10' away. And this is on lower res upscaled sources. It really shines displaying my photos. Digital photos have so much more detail and color than video and they look amazing on this display. I tried a couple of DVDs (Blade Runner, Lord Of The Rings) that I knew well and was quite impressed with how much better they looked. BR in particular has a lot of dark scenes that show off the contrast and detail of this screen. Caveat: my old HTPC video card could not handle 4kUHD resolution so I fed the screen 1080P. It looked pretty good but when I replaced it with a new card able to output 4kUHD directly the image noticeably improved. My conclusion is the upscaling in the TV itself is just ok. Calibration: I debated calibrating the screen since it looked so good and I must say, I can't tell the difference pre-, post-calibration on any material except test patterns. WebOS: LGs on-line browsing is pretty easy to use. We haven't tried adding an ap for anything not included but Youtube, netflix, etc. just seem to work. I haven't accessed any 4k material yet since we don't have the bandwidth for it in our WAN connection. Downside: All of your old analog material will look awful. Old VHS, Hi-8, even my laserdiscs are pretty bad. We've had this TV a month now and haven't had any glitches or problems. Fingers crossed there will be none of the problems others have had. We're very pleased with this unit.

  • Beautiful display and perfect for gaming

I was torn between the KS8000 and this one. I pulled the trigger and bought the lg b6. I don't have any regrets. It upscales flawlessly and makes everything a delight to watch. For any review that states it is not bright they need to get their eyes checked. It is extremely bright and almost too bright in dark rooms. You can modify the tv's setting easily to your preference. The sound is loud and has Harmon Kardon so it's very excellent. I will say you will need to download the latest patch from the lg site. Out of box it does not have the patch. It takes a few moments to install. It adds HDR Gaming mode to the HDR selection. Overall buy it. Don't wait. Just do it.

  • Great value for a 4k OLED HDR TV, but still leaves a little room for improvement

As this title states, this is a great TV. LG makes great TVs and this TV offers great performance for a great price. However, there are a few things, I would improve. WebOS is very powerful, but their GUIs could use some work. It's not bad, it just could be a little better. I wish HBO would create an app for this TV. Also, the magic remote does not turn on all my other equipment at the same time as my TV. I wish it could act like a true universal remote.
