It has an ISO sensitivity of 100 to 6400 that allows for continuous shooting up to 3 fps. Its 3-inch LCD monitor provides a clear view of the captured images and videos, and also lets you compose shots with ease. This black camera has built-in Wi-Fi and NFC wireless connectivity. This is a great intermediate camera for learning to unleash your inner photographer. There are many accessories and additional lenses that can be purchased to suit your needs. It does require a SD card to be installed before you can use it. Purchase a good one geared toward photography, you won't regret spending the couple of extra dollars in exchange for the benefits. Battery pack has long life before requiring charging. The camera has great image quality and was fairly easy to learn to use. Indoor, outdoor, all different lighting and weather conditions, I get great photos. After owning compact cameras for years, I am glad that I made the leap. Well worth the price in my opinion. Great camera for the money!
It is a great introductory camera for someone just getting into photography. It has most of the bells and whistles that more expensive cameras have. It is Wi-Fi ready and you can link to most cell phones. I just kept watching auctions on eBay for one and I was able to purchase one from an auction. I am still learning about it yet myself, but so far I am very pleased with it. I would recommend getting a book or watch some videos on YouTube about it. If you want to spend a little more and get the T6i model which has the LCD screen that you can move it around, making it easier to take pictures in certain conditions. HAS ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES
I have used a Minolta SLR camera for many years and when digital took over I bought a Canon Power Shot and it did well taking family pictures but I wanted a digital autofocus camera to use to take some wildlife and bird pictures but thought they were just not in my budget until I saw a used Canon Rebel EOS T6 here on eBay for a great price, a lot better than Amazon's price and it came with two lenses, new camera bag, cleaning tool a remote to take pictures up to 16 feet away, bag for lens and lens covers, battery charger and a CD that tells more than I will ever learn about the camera. The camera can be left on automatic and it will do everyting but can be used on manual. You can use the view finder or the large live view to view your scene. All the buttons and dials are marked clearly to what they are and the camera and with a .55 mm lens is really light. I'm going to use it on a tripod when the wind stops blowing and take some remote pictures of the birds I feed in my backyard. There are better cameras that run into thousands of dollars but I don't need one. I just ordered a zoom leans for it and I'm only out about $400.00.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

SD card in battery door is bad idea
Maybe this is personal preference, but I always add a battery grip to my cameras. I have owned almost every Rebel since the Xsi. This camera seemed to be good, until I mounted the grip and could not find the SD card slot. I thought I was crazy, but I took the grip off, and there it was.... In the battery compartment. This is just not good, so I did not keep this camera. So if you don't use a battery grip, Rebel Cameras are great and no doubt you will love this. But if you do use a grip, do yourself a favor and get a T5i or T6s.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good Starter, Intermediate or Weekend Warrior Camera
I've owed several Canon Camera's & I've tested several other Brand's. This Camera is a Super Intermediate Camera & will do most anything any other camera will do & this is a very good deal with this Kit. This Kit is very Large & for most Beginner's this should be about all you would need to get started taking photo's. It's also good for the weekend photo taker. I tried taken wildlife photo's at 100 yard's with the Auto Zoom & the Camera did better than a fair job. Over all I like this Camera for my use & for most people I think you would like it too. The Only Con's that I saw with this Camera was the Batteries don't stay charged as long as stated, but with this Kit you get 3 Batteries, So your Fine in that area. The Second Con is the Camera is not as fast as stated, but it does Fine for most Photography. I've had this Camera over a month now & I've took over a 1,000 Photo's with it & so far it's made the test. . Light and nimble
Got this camera because I had stopped shooting35mm SLR years ago and got rid of all that stuff. I was a little worried that the experience would not be as pleasent as the olld SLR. Wrong! I never considered the fact that it would not need an external motor drive for action shoots and what 35mm SLR coulddo video. It only took me a short time to get comfortable with it and the color and image are exceptional. I love not having to choose a film speed or set f-stops or worry about light meters.
