toothbrush clip
Got for 2 reasons. The sanitizing feature and the ease/quick clip (kind of like a hair clip). Our toothbrushes were previously open in a cup on counter in bathroom. Besides the obvious- that 3 people are sharing way more than a home, with toothbrushes crammed together in a cup. I also saw a program that talked about fecal matter/bacteria/germs being swished into the air every you flush the toilet. I started looking for something that would separate, protect from outside germs, and sanitize as well. I looked at several UV light toothbrush wall hanging products, but our outlet has been on the fritz in the bathroom, so I needed something nonelectrical. I came across these and was sold. The different colors allows us to quickly see which toothbrush is our own; and they are protected from any nasty germs that may be lurking. Note: there IS a kind of medicinal/cleaner smell- but I'm not sticking on my nose, and it's not so offensive of a smell that it's unbearable. I also have very sensitive olfactory- so I could smell tacos being cooked 3 doors down :-) Anyways- there's a smell, but it's not so bad that it outweighs the benefits it provides.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I'm not sure if it actually destroys bacteria as it says on the packaging. But i does provide a shield from airborne germs and other stuff in your bathroom. A few years ago i learned that when you flush the toilet, those germs from the toilet can travel up through the air and onto your toothbrush.
