Seems good, never had to use it...yet.
Seems good. Never had to use it so far, and I hope I never have to, but there were some close moments with coyotes in our back yard, and of all places...New Jersey ! My only complaint is that I wish it came with some type of carrying holster or shoulder strap. I will end this by saying that I am an animal lover and do not wish them any harm. I feel bad that many of the wooded areas are getting developed and they are running out of places to go, but I have lived in this area since 1969 and it's getting risky to walk my dogs right outside our house. We've had aggressive foxes, raccoons, and some possums that came right up the road toward me when I was picking up after the dogs at night, so my intention is to just spray in their direction to scare them off when loud clapping or noise doesn't work. Bear Country
I haven't had to use it yet. But I feel confident it will do what it is intended for. I live in a trailer at a campground. It is 65 acres on top of a mountain in Great Cacapon, WV. From Halloween until the middle of April I am here by myself. This is black bear country. I feel a lot safer here now that I have this product. I feel that it could leave me with a way out. I am 6'4" and my land lord has an image from one of his cameras of a black bear standing on its hind legs.
