Great, Solid, Very Well Made and Above all, Dependable .45acp Magazine

I have been buying Chip McCormick Magazine for years, I don't even give it a 2nd thought when I need another or a couple other magazines. I just order them. I have been into handguns for over 50 years now and I have tried many a magazine. There are a few other good ones, but none are better than Chip McCormick and none are as reasonably priced. What else is there to say!

  • Top critical review

    Too wide, too tight.

Magazine is too wide on back due to weld seam to fit 1954 US Military 1911A1. All my other mags slip in and freely drop out when mag release pushed. This had to be shoved in and lip had to be used against hard surface to remove. This caused deep scratches in blueing. Magwarehouse said can't return because it was removed from package, has scratches and they don't guarantee fitment since there are so many varieties of 1911 even though you would expect a military 1911A1 to be mil-spec, which is what description said this mag is made to.

  • Great quality

I am using it with my Sig Nightmare, I love how the bottom is flush and nothing on it, it makes the gun a little harder to notice when carrying it. Overall its an awesome magazine and I plan to buy a few more.

  • As good as original equipment.

Five stars becuse the magazine performs exactly as a handgun magazine should. It is as good as any other magazine that I own and use. Well made. I appreciate the fact that it fits flush in the mag well of my 1911. I think highly enough of it that I'll probably order two more. Recommended.

  • Awesome smooth magazines.

These are flawless first quality, they run good in all my 1911’s. I have no issues at all with these. In every brand they run good. I got kimbers, Norinco, colt, tisas, and they all run awesome. I will gladly replace all of my current magazines with these. 7 at a time. I love them.

  • Low cost and reliable magazine!

These magazines are very affordable and are perfect at getting the job done. They have always reliably fed bullets when needed. These are a great replacement for any standard GI style 1911 without the requirement for a bumper pad. You will not be diappointed in their performance.

Chip McCormick 1911 Gov't .45 ACP 8 Round Mil-Spec Magazine 14310. This is a really good magazine. I don't have any problem with it. I use this magazine with my RIA 1911 .45. I am surely recommend it.

  • It's a tight fit,but it fits

Originally had trouble seating the magazine into my SA Mil Spec. After some experimenting, I solved the problem. The mag release button needs to be pressed down until the magazine is completely inserted. It's a flaw, but one that can be overlooked, Overall, good product.

  • Great mags @ a great $$$

I buy Chip McCormick mags for a reason. They just work. I have put thousands of rounds through my 1911 with them and no FTF ever! These 3 bring me up to 12 mags. These are the best mags out for less than 40.00 each.
