Not what I expected
I looked at several different brands and styles of blade removable tools. So I decided on this one based on the picture of the handle. Other just had a L shape and this one had a T shape based on the picture. Well I even paid a few dollars more for the T shape handle. So when it arrived I open the package to find a L shape. Probably not really big deal, I just was thinking it would be easier to tighten with the T. Guess I’ll never know. Worked Perfect for me + easy to use
This worked great to hold all 3 blades on my Cub Cadet RZT L 54 from turning to replace old blades.It is easy to adjust to the deck and holds the old blade in place while you loosen the blade nut with a breaker bar. I removed and installed one blade at a time removing this tool then moving it on the deck to replace the other 2 blades on my deck. This is one of the Top 5 items I have ever purchased on E Bay and I have purchased a lot! My only regret is that I didn’t purchase this item younger in life since I’m in my sixty’s now😁!! The right tool for the job

a must have for blade changing
This device does exactly what it was designed to do (keep the blade from turning while you loosen the bolts). The only caveat I have is because it is black it seems to blend in with the mower. If you are not especially careful you will forget to remove it. I have painted mine fluorescent orange so I am more apt to notice it is still attached to the deck. I wouldn't be without one of these. Great little gadget, makes blade changing much easier
This little thing is a wonder. Before, I always removed the mower deck from the tractor and jammed a piece of 2x4 or hammer handle under the blade to keep the blade from turning when removing the spindle nut. With this gadget, I just jacked up the front end of the tractor and changed the blades without removing the mower deck. I think the description limited the deck size for use. My deck is 46 inches (two blades) and it worked just fine. Maybe a three blade system would give it a problem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
