Great little emergency radio for emergencies and backpacking...
My review is based on using this when camping / backpacking. Two features that I required were size / weight and the radio using an 18650 battery. This radio is 10.5 ounces, which is a little heavier than some other radios of this size, but the build quality is very good. The size is 6.5" x 1.875" x 2.75". Great size for backpacking. It has a micro usb input for charging - you can either use a computer, a wall plug, a battery bank or a solar charger to charge it. Once charged, leaving it near a window will keep it fully charged. That is really all the solar panel is for, I don't know if it would ever fully charge the battery. The reception is good on all three bands. The audio quality is not great, however, it does have a 3.5 mm audio jack. I use it to connect a good bluetooth speaker if using for listening to music. While it does use an 18650 battery, it has a plug on it to connect to the radio, so you can't use just any 18650 battery. I will modify my radio so that it will use any 18650 battery. There are videos on YoutTube showing how to do this. So for emergency use and for backpacking, this is a great radio for me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Small radio with good clear sound
Great radio for the size. You will not get ground shaking bass and glass shattering highs from a 4 inch radio, but you will get clear sound. I was surprised how clear the sound was...not 'tinny' or 'canned' at all. Also the solar works great while the radio sits on my dashboard. I use it while delivering mail. Great radio my 2nd one purchased after Hurricane Michael ravaged our hometown and our house. We evacuated to Mobile Alabama with it from Panama City Beach and would have been lost without it. Upon returning to PCB no water no electric but radio was a lifesaver for our family. Small and light radio
Nice size radio, am is a little weak, fm is fine, weather alert signal fine. solar cell does not keep the battery charged up full in window. other than that, it is a nice radio. Great for the storms in Elvis' Home Town (Tupelo)
Great addition to our Storm Shelter from Lee's in Aberdeen. Leave set to WX alert 24/7 and solar charge it everyday on the windowsill. Maintains 2 of 3 bars without hooking up to my cell phone charger. Decided it wasn't worth $25 more just to get the next model that also uses 6 AA(A) batteries as power, along with a slightly greater capacity 3.7V. Would appear the replacement for this 3.7V could use a higher than 2000 mAh capacity in the same battery compartment and enhance play time for the ER210.
