nice and soft
This pad really soaks up enough recoil to make shooting higher recoiling guns much more comfortable to shoot. it adds about 1 inch to length of pull but I won't be shortening my stock as this pad will going on different guns when appropriate. shortening a stock too permanent and I don't want to change to factory configuration. limb saver slip on pad

Excellent recoil pad
This provides excellent cushion against recoil. I barely notice the kick of my 12 gauge shotgun with deer slugs. I use it more to add 1 inch length of pull. I’m a tall person and this works perfect for that too. The added LOP allows me to aim down the barrel easier. I Like slip on's
For classic wood stocked shotguns , like the Winchester 1300 or Wingmaster........I'd rather have a "slip-on" than alter an original stock..........good for synthetic stocks as it blends !!!
