It's a recoil spring that's an exact replacement for the one that comes in a Glock. I had no problems with my original spring, and have shot several hundred rounds with this replacement, again with no problems. Wasnt the same item in the picture
Used it at the range today. No malfunctions but this looks more like a gen 4 spring and the one depicted in the pictures looks to be a gen 3. Not a big deal i suppose but it does seems to be stuck when field stripping you really have to pull it out wherras my gen 3 spring fits snug and comes out easily. The one on the right is what came with my pistol, the one on the left is what i ordered and came to me, as i said doesnt lool exactly like the one in the picture of the listing.

Glock reliability
I purchased as a replacement for a Gen 2.5 G27 that I run 9mm (Wolf barrel), .40 S&W and .357 Sig (Glock Factory Barrels). The original recoil spring assembly was sloppy and the improvements far exceed the original design. As an armorer, I’m not a fan of using non-Glock internal parts, so it’s a stretch for to comment on any after market recoil springs. I don’t have feed issues or ammunition issues with this pistol so the G27 is a staple in my CCW arsenal.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great OEM parts, but they may need break in.
This new part did not work at first with my early Glock 26. However, after help from Glock customer service, it seems fine. New parts seem to have different tolerances than original parts and need break in, according to Glock.
