  • Excellent mid cost scope but a for 22lr

Super clear optics, shock proof, and fog proof.. Has a luminated dot reticle and a BDC grid from 50 to 200yrds that once sited allows you to easily adjust your shots to different distances quickly by just moving your aiming point. Scope is a solid well made optic with a warranty and fairly priced and a great addition to your favorite 22 rifle.

  • Vantage vs endurance. I've looked at every scope at my local Academy

Very nice scope. Lighted reticle is very nice against dark wooded backgrounds. Good and clear and yardage is numbered in the scope so no remembering required like most bdc. The .22 hv name seems slightly deceiving though because it's actually designed for the standard every day .22 lr bulk ammo and the regular .22 lr reticle is actually for .22 subsonic ammo. I feel they could've been named .22 lr and .22 subsonic and been more clear by the names. These scopes are definitely nice for a .22 but if you want a scope that's super nice for a big rifle that has a ton of eye relief I'd definitely recommend the endurance series and it is clearer than the vantage series although both are nice. The endurance are definitely up to nikon, burris, & vortex type standards and not the bottom of the barrel of each either and leupold I feel you may as well be ready to drain your whole life savings to compete but that's just my opinion. I've never noticed leupold to be bright enough for me in the sub $600 range but whatever, there is a world renown following which I feel vortex is filling the goal better myself but whatever. And my endurance isn't even the newest style. It is the older endurance and is a super nice scope and dare I say is not far off from my viper. Hawke are well known scopes in the break barrel pellet rifle world. Since pellet guns kick in two directions hard each way real fast they are known to kill high dollar brands scopes. Yet these hawke are well known to be built to withstand about any recoil etc which I bet also helps during rifle drops and bumps. Anyway back to the point, if you want a nice scope a vantage will do you, a really really nice scope that's even more clear with a ton of eye relief the endurance, and I'd bet the sidewinders are awesome long range scopes. I've read hawke hold up to their warrantee but I have no experience here do I asked pyramyd air reps that handle hawke a lot and they claim they'd never had a problem.

  • Hawke .22lr scope

It has a bit of chromatic aboration, and without paralax adjustment can't really be adjusted out. The ranging reiucle works well, for the price it is a good optic, could be improved upon with a 1st focal plane reticle and paralax adjustment, but that would kick it into the $300-500 range.

  • Definitely grab one for your 22lr.

This is a fine scope for the 22lr sight it in and shoot. I like that it has the drop points built in so hold over long shots are easy and it's illuminated..sweet!

  • This Scope is the Best Bang for Your Buck!

This scope is very well constructed, with very clear glass. I have multiple scopes that cost way more than this one, and some of those don't match the quality. This is my second Hawke scope and I think I might buy one more in the next few weeks.

  • Hawke vantage 22 scope

Get it sighted in with high velocity 22 lr and keep using the same brand and type of ammo--the marks for various distances are not perfect but very close--close enough to hit a pop can at any of the distances it is set up for---50 to 200 yds good for the price

  • Fine optics

My 1st Hawke optics and completed my custom 10/22. The best option for a .22 hands down.
